Avoid Women's Hair Loss - Smart Hair Care Tips

By Elena Lopes

Whether or not vigilant hair care can actually prevent you from losing your hair is a bit of a gamble. You need to understand that genetics and your body's chemical make-up will out-weigh the most professional hair care. Still... why take the risk? All women should still do everything possible to prevent hair loss. You don't want to be consigned to wearing a hat all the time - right? After some research on hair loss and hair care, we found some great tips and will tell you all about it.

Wet hair is fragile hair, so dry it properly! This means that you should never ever wring the water out of your hair. If your hair is long, avoid the temptation only because you're inducing unnecessary damage. The only thing this does for you is increase number of broken hairs you have. Also... you will be pulling hair out and causing stress to your hair follicles. Instead simply squeeze your hair dry with a towel and, at most, pat it. Then let it air dry. After all, you don't want to speed up the process of women's hair loss, right?

We'll remind you of the importance of daily hair combing and you should do it. If you need a brush, then of course you brush your hair each and every day. If you do not comb your hair every day it will get matted and your scalp could get clogged with too much oil. So many women have dreadlocks, and they are terrible for the scalp and hair for this very reason.

Always use the best shampoo for the type of hair you have. The best way to do this is to visit a professional stylist. This person can evaluate your hair and let you know which products and styles will work best with it. If your hair is fine, then a heavy shampoo can weigh it down too much. You should not use conditioner on oily hair at all. This is the kind of important considerations you need to make, and your stylist can help you out.

That does not mean, however, that they should go down without a fight. How much or little hair you eventually have will often be determined by how well you took care of it. Unless you have a genetic hair loss issue, just using a healthy hair care regimen will keep that hair on your head far into the future. So do use these tips and keep learning more as much as possible.
