What Causes Hair Loss?

By Stephen McKulasky

According to Medem Medical Library's website, male suffer baldness is a condition that affects over quarter of male American population -- 40 million people. It's more than the whole population of the biggest and most populated state -- California. And yet very few know anything true about that condition.

The Truth That a Few Know

It might appear that 40 million is sufficient. It might appear that since so many human lives are afflicted by exactly the same problem, people ought to know at least the simplest minimum of the most typical reasons for this problem. It might appear but that is all. The issue is, society still thinks that what triggers balding is extremely elevated level of stress and sexual frustration. When you combine those two, a very unhappy existence is what you get; so the majority of people think that self-disappointment triggers balding. Depressing, don't you agree?

Check this out: the latest studies say that 25% of men start balding before reaching age 30. Now try to imagine what such a young man must go through, when his hair is falling out and people around him believe that's because there's something wrong in his life. Or maybe even everything wrong!

The Truth About the Causes of Baldness

Now, let's hear what researchers and doctors say on that subject. After reading through latest research reports it might be obvious and apparent that the truth is hair loss is triggered by (behold!) a "hair loss gene", and maybe even by "hair loss genes".

To tell the truth, nobody knows right now which gene exactly causes balding, but scientist are positive that it's one of eight or nine they have already discovered. Knowing that, American Medical Association states that there is 4 in 7 chance of receiving it. That's more than 50%.

It's the Genetics, You Fool

And scientists all over the world confirm that. Studies performed by researchers from Germany to Japan to Malaysia even, they all result in the same statement: it's all about genes. And even though they can't tell right now if the helion is SOX21 or EDA2R on the X-chromosome, or any other of funny-named gene, the cause is known and established.

All of those findings shed a brand new vibrant light for all those affected by MPB. They destroy painful misconceptions and point us in the right direction. They indicate, that those who suffer from baldness aren't really "messed up".

It's time that we reconsider our viewpoint on balding and revise all those urban legends and common believes. For the science has spoken. And it would be really stupid not to listen to it.
